Hurley Police posts a records notice but no accessible online form or fee table. Its counter hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Call first if timing matters.

A public copy may show less than the internal booking file. Medical screening and jail-security notes are not ordinary profile fields, while victim or juvenile details may be redacted. Under Wisconsin Statute section 19.35, a request may be oral or written and usually need not state a purpose or identity. It must reasonably describe an existing record. Reproduction charges are limited to actual, necessary, direct cost. A location charge may apply when it reaches $50, and prepayment may be required when total costs exceed $5. Arrests Are Not Convictions
An arrest records restraint and an allegation. A conviction records a court's judgment after a guilty or no-contest plea or a finding of guilt. Many arrests do not lead to filed charges. Filed counts can be dismissed or end in acquittal, and one count can end differently from another. The clerk's disposition is the better source for the outcome, while the arresting agency and jail remain the sources for the event and intake.
